Calca Solutions added a new product line to its portfolio, Cleanazine™, to neutralize hydrazine products in the case of leaks or spills. Cleanazine™ is the safest hydrazine remediation technology available, developed as a method to deal safely with neutralizing hydrazine and monomethyl hydrazine by a chemical process that produces a nonhazardous waste stream.

Cleanazine™ is a naturally occurring, patented organic compound with a very low hazard rating. The process has been tested by NASA and successfully used by a nuclear power plant to neutralize 96,000 gallons of water containing hydrazine.

Depending on your anticipated needs for remediation, Cleanazine™ comes in various packaging from spray bottles to pails, and there are also applications for presoaked pads and pillows for leaks.
